A Rainbow’s End Bed and Breakfast is a traditional European style in-house hosted Bed and Breakfast accommodation set on 5 acres in the Adelaide Hills.
You are invited to come and enjoy this tranquil rural farm stay setting, less than 30mins from Adelaide, just outside Hahndorf and Mt Barker.
Upon arrival you will be greeted with afternoon tea by the water features, you can feed Vlad and Wally the Alpacas or venture out to the many wonderful local attractions of the Adelaide Hills.
In the morning you will be served with your choice of Pam’s scrumptious home cooked breakfasts

Monarto Zoo which is located just 25 minutes drive from A Rainbow’s End Bed and Breakfast is a 1,000 hectare open range sanctuary undertaking a major role nationally and internationally in breeding programs for rare and endangered species.
This unique adventure features the only drive though Cheetah habitat in Australia, South Australia’s first ever Southern White Rhinoceros, Australia’s Largest Giraffe herd and the largest revegetation project of it’s kind in South Australia’s history!
Adventurous safari bus and walking tours operate every day of the year, led by trained volunteer tour guides.

Mount Barker is a town rich in history, the heritage walk offers an insight into the history of the town including the Auchendarroch, built in 1878 by prominent South Australian Robert Barr Smith as the family’s summer residence. Restored to its former glory, it is now part of the Wallis entertainment complex.
Mount Barker Summit provides excellent views of the surrounding area and the Summit Scenic Drive takes in the Summit Conservation Park as well as the Laratinga Wetlands linear walk and cycle path. Take a break at Keith Stephenson Park, which has picnic facilities and South Australia’s largest skate park.
Mount Barker is also the home of Steamranger - a vintage steam-powered train that travels out of the Adelaide Hills to Strathalbyn, Goolwa and Victor Harbor during winter months – check with the local operator for timetables

- Mt Lofty botanical gardens

Approximately 25 minutes from A Rainbow’s End Bed and Breakfast, the Mount Lofty Botanic Garden is a large hills garden with spectacular views down the Piccadilly Valley.
Several walking trails take visitors up and down the seven valleys each dedicated to a particular plant group including stunning massed displays of magnolias, rhododendrons, camellias, roses, and peonies.
After an invigorating walk around the gardens, enjoy a picnic lunch by the lakeside.
- Birdwood National Motor Museum

A short drive of approximately 30 minutes from A Rainbow’s End Bed and Breakfast through the Adelaide Hills will bring you to The National Motor Museum at Birdwood, which houses the nation's most important collection of vintage, veteran and classic motor cars and motor cycles, exceeding three hundred. Set in a beautiful twenty acre complex by the River Torrens.
